- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪15 years ago my new rescue puppy was hit by a car, my local vet stabilized her but she was paralyzed from the waist back and in a great deal of pain...after 2 days I decided to put her down. My vet recommended I take her to Dr Lee, he immediately sedated her and injected dye into the nerves in her spine. It showed a pinch and the dye stopped at that point. I left her there for surgery and headed back to Indy. A couple days later they called for me to pick her up, I expected to be carrying her home and be caring for a crippled dog the rest of her life...to my amazement she was standing, on leash, with a foot long suture down her back, pain free and mobile!
