- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪If I could have given -10, I would. My son took for 30 + years, no seizures since started it. Other Dr.s said they didn't want to take him off of it because there was something in his brain that still caused seizures. This Dr. sees him once and takes him off the phenobarbital cold turkey, nothing to replace it. My son has had 6 major seizures since then. The new Dr. he has now says he should never have been taken off it, and should have been monitored closely with any other drug. Wouldn't recommend Dr. Rocco...April 02, 2017by Delilah Swinford
